-ImgBurn (αυτό στο οποίο κατέληξα)

Όλα πανάλαφρα. Σαν εγγραφές εμπιστεύομαι το ImgBurn. Το InfreRecorder έχει καλό interface, το CDBurnerXP έχει καλύτερο support για Audio από τα άλλα δύο.

Εγώ κατέληξα στον συνδιασμό του imgBurn κυρίως για αντιγραφή και δημιουργία από εικονικό αρχείο και στο CDBurnerXP όταν θέλω να κάφω μουσικά cd ή με διάφορα αρχεία δομημένα σε καταλόγους.

Υπάρχουν διάφορες κατηγορίες αγοραστών, όσο αφορά την αγορά μιας κάμερας. Υπάρχουν εκείνοι που θέλουν απλά την πιο ακριβή κάμερα, εκείνοι που θέλουν την πιο design-άτη, εκείνοι που δεν ξέρουν τι θέλουν και εκείνοι που θέλουν μια κάμερα στα μέτρα τους. Λέω να επικεντρωθούμε στην τελευταία κατηγορία.

Λοιπόν ποιο είναι το πρώτο πράγμα που πρέπει να κάνουμε?
Το πρώτο βήμα είναι να αποφασίσουμε ποια ανάλυση θέλουμε: high-definition (υψηλής ευκρίνειας) ή standard definition (υπικής ευκρίνειας) ? Η απόφασή μας εξαρτάται από τις δυνατότητες του υπολογιστή μας. Η υψηλή ευκρίνεια απαιτεί και μεγάλους αποθηκευτικούς χώρους και δυνατά μηχανήματα… Και τελικά δεν νομίζω να αξίζει και τόσο τον κόπο, όσο αφορά τα ερασιτεχνικά μας βίντεο. Πες, ότι αποφασίζουμε να επιλέξουμε τυπική ευκρίνεια.
Το δεύτερο βήμα είναι να δούμε τα χαρακτηριστικά της κάμερα και συγκεκριμένα εκεί που λέει “αποθηκευτικό μέσο”, όπου θα αποθηκευτούν οι λήψεις μας σε ψηφιακή μορφή. Υπάρχουν τέσσερις κατηγορίες που θα συναντήσουμε: miniDV(μικρή κασέτα), DVD, HDD (σκληρός δίσκος) και μνήμη. Εδώ να τονίσουμε ότι δεν έχει τόσο σημασία τό αποθηκευτικό μέσο (σκληρός δίσκος, μνήμη dvd κτλ.), αλλά το format (είδος συμπίεσης) που εγγράφεται το video μας σε αυτό.
DVD: ο μόνος λόγος που θα πάρεις κάμερα με dvd είναι για να βλέπεις άμεσα αυτά που τράβηξες, στον υπολογιστή σου ή στο dvd-player χωρίς να κάνεις καμιά επεξεργασία (μοντάζ). Τα αρχεία του dvd είναι αρχεία vob, δηλαδή με κατάληξη .vob (με format mpeg-2) τα οποία δεν μπορούν να επεξεργαστούν από πολλά προγράμματα μοντάζ, χωρίς να μετατραπούν σε αρχεία άλλης μορφής (avi, mov, mpg,κτλ).HDD και μνήμη: αν δεν θες να μπλέκεις με καλώδια θα πάρεις κάμερα με σκλήρό δίσκο ή μνήμη όπου η εγγραφή γίνεται σε αρχεία mpg (με format mpeg-2) και τα αρχεία μπορούν να εισαχθούν στο υπολογιστή με ένα απλό καλώδιο usb (όπως πιθανότατα εισάγεις και τις φωτογραφίες σου από την ψηφιακή σου φωτογραφική μηχανή).
mini-dv: η κασσετούλα θα λένε πολλοί ότι ανηκει στο παρελθόν, αλλά μάλλον παραμένει η καλύτερη λύση αν θέλεις την καλύτερη δυνατή ποιότητα. Το format DV υπερέχει του mpeg-2 όσον αφορά την ποιότητα της εικόνας και δεν χρειάζεται να έχεις γεμάτους αποθηκευτικούς χώρους στον υπολογιστή σου. Το αρνητικό της κασσετούλας είναι ότι απαιτεί ειδική κάρτα στον υπολογιστή και ένα καλώδιο firewire και για να εισαχθεί (capture ) χρειάζεται τον ίδιο χρόνο με αυτόν της διάρκειας των λήψεων.

Εγώ παντως ψηψίζω mini-DV. Δαγκωτό.

Welcome to the ISO Recorder download page. ISO Recorder is a tool (power toy) for Windows XP, 2003 and now Windows Vista, that allows (depending on the Windows version) to burn CD and DVD images (DVD support is only available on Windows Vista), copy disks, make images of the existing data CDs and DVDs and create ISO images from a content of a disk folder.

ISO Recorder has been conceived during Windows XP beta program, when Microsoft for the first time started distributing new OS builds as ISO images. Even though the new OS had CD-burning support (by Roxio), it did not have an ability to record an image. ISO Recorder has filled this need and has been one of the popular Windows downloads ever since.

With an advent of Windows XP SP2 and Windows 2003 the version 2 of ISO Recorder has been released, which introduced some new features including ISO image creation and support for non-admin user.
